Ms. Morrison has established herself as one of the foremost lead poisoning defense attorneys in Massachusetts, and has conducted seminars on defending lead paint poisoning claims. She has conducted more than 75 jury trials to a verdict, and in a significant number of the cases, the defendant had admitted liability. In most instances, she held the jury's verdict to an amount below the defendant's final pre-trial offer that had been rejected by the plaintiff. In addition, Ms. Morrison personally supervised the trial and defense of all Amtrak cases arising out of the dramatic Back Bay Collision that occurred in December of 1990. Ms Morrison has extensive experience interpreting medical records evaluating orthopedic injuries, neuropsychological injuries, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, various other psychological injuries, and the side effects of prescription medications. She is the author of the Firm's Lead Paint Desk Book, a work that contains an analysis of many reported and unreported decisions, as well as summaries of the Massachusetts lead poisoning laws designed for the use of insurance clients in defense against such cases. She has also authored Get the Lead Out: A Guide to Litigating Lead Paint Claims in New England and New York, which summarizes the laws and cases pertaining to lead paint in those states.
