Mr. La Hait began his career as a claim examiner for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company from 1987 through 1989. He subsequently, was an associate and, ultimately, a partner, with the insurance defense firm of Griffin & Goulka in Boston, concentrating his practice in insurance defense litigation, with an emphasis on insurance coverage. He has tried several jury and non-jury cases in both state and federal court. At F,P&A, Mr. LaHait continues to practice insurance defense litigation with an emphasis on insurance coverage. He has written numerous coverage opinions for the many insurers represented by F,P&A, and most recently joined Attorney Mark Newcity in obtaining summary judgment on a Connecticut coverage case.
